Persuasive Writing by Parker Kleppen

Mom, I think I should go to Alex’s house. Alex and I can play inside and outside playing basketball. Or watching TV or playing war with Nerf guns. And take a bike ride to the park or ever go to are house and shoot guns.   I think I should go to Alex house or watching TV or playing. WKCE Testing!

We are working SO hard mom and dad!!!

Personal Narrative by Olivia Hoerl

One afternoon I was alone at home with my older sister Emily. My dad was taking my little sister Adi to swimming lessons. When Emily and I were at home I got a little worried about how it would be and then someone banged on the door. Emily and I ducked behind the couch so they wouldn't see us. I said, "Why would those people be here?" You will never believe how I became so scared! My sister and I were upstairs playing Wii and I wanted to shut all the blinds.
I asked Emily,"When is dad and Adi going to be here?"  But Em did'nt answer me. We went downstairs to the livingroom and decided to turn on thh TV. I wanted to go back upstairs but Em said,"Lets just stay down here."
Finally my dad and Adi got home after an hour of us being alone. When I saw them walk in I was so glad they were home! After all  things turned out normal . I said to dad " I never want to be home alone with my sister again!

Third grade went to Ledgeview Nature Park
Thurs., Sept. 13. We learned that all the animals
living in the caves can't harm us even the snakes!
At the last cave there were different patterns in
the rock made by moving water. Sydney, Averi,
and Mrs.Mueller even saw a bat! Some of us
were "Warriors" so we  put on warrior mud.
We got really muddy. If you ever get a chance to
go to Ledgeview be sure to check out the caves!

Back to School!

It is back to school time and I have been busy in the classroom preparing for our new school year.  Honestly, I feel like a kid again on the first day of school.  I am excited, nervous, and anxious about meeting my new classroom family!  At least we are all feeling the same and can understand each other!

I love the quote by Connie Lynne, "If you don't give up...you cannot fail!"  I truly believe we can get through anything as long as we keeping trying our best.  I am posting one of my favorite videos that Ms. Lynne put together that shows exactly what NOT giving up looks and feels like.  I am looking forward to starting our journey together!
