Owl Pellet Dissection

The students enjoyed dissecting owl pellets today.  We learned how owls swallow their food whole and regurgitate it back up making the pellet.  We found many bones of mice and moles.  A great conclusion to our science unit!  :)

Christmas Presents

 We were busy little elves making our parent Christmas gifts for you today!  We listened to Holiday music as we worked.  Above is a picture of Payton getting up close to the music and down below are the kids beginning to make the magic happen!  :)  Parents will have to wait until Christmas to see what we made you!

What a fantastic day for our fieldtrip Monday.  The weather cooperated and it wasn't too muddy in the caves.  I'm sure the kids would have liked a little more mud...

Homecoming 2013

 What a great Homecoming day at school!  The day began with a pep rally in the middle school gym and ended with watching the parade with our Kindergarten buddies!

We couldn't ask for a better day for our reward party trip to the school forest.  The students enjoyed feeding the birds and seeing all the changes that are happening down there.

We had a GREAT time at Barlow Planetarium and The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center!  Our favorite part was the "rollercoaster" at Barlow and the "slinky" performance at PAC.
